From Protection to Presence® | Bali, Indonesia
hosted by IFSBali.com
Beneath every protective strategy is a nervous system doing its best to keep us safe. When you learn its language, your work with parts becomes gentler, deeper, and more effective. This six-day Polyvagal-Informed IFS retreat explores how safety creates the conditions for healing, and how that understanding can enrich every stage of your work with clients.
On Bali’s coast, with warm ocean air, tropical gardens, and a community of fellow practitioners, you’ll have space to slow down, reconnect with your own nervous system, and return home with a steadier, more spacious presence.
What You’ll Experience
We’ll weave IFS and Polyvagal Theory together through guided meditations, teaching, live demonstrations, partner exercises, and skills practice. You’ll learn to see activation, shutdown, and dysregulation as intelligent adaptations rather than obstacles, and to notice how supporting regulation opens the way to Self energy.
The week builds from foundational safety toward more activated, blended, and survival-based states. Days begin with optional yoga and meditation, followed by teaching and practice, with a generous midday break to rest or explore. Above all, this retreat is experiential, so you’ll explore these ideas within your own internal system.
IFS-trained therapists, practitioners, counselors, and coaches who have completed Level 1 or have equivalent experience are invited to register. If you’re deeply IFS-informed through another path, you’re welcome to share your background. The group is limited to 30 participants, and 25 hours of IFS continuing education are pending approval.
The retreat takes place beside a striking black sand beach, about an hour from Bali’s international airport. The venue has an on-site spa, yoga program, and fitness facilities. Spa treatments and surf lessons can be booked separately.
I hope to see you in Bali.
